What is Charity Tilt II?
A texas hold'em no limit charity poker tournament, all designed to raise money for various charities and so you can have fun!
What charity is benefiting from the poker tournament?
100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Sobell House Hospice Charity, Registered Charity No. 1118646.
When and where is it going to be held?
On bank holiday Monday 6th May 2019 at Grove Village Hall (OX12 7JY), in South West Oxfordshire, less than a mile from Williams F1 HQ. Registration starts at 12.30, shuffle up and deal 13.30, ends approx 19.30 (all times TBC.
How much is it to enter/buy-in?
A £20 donation to charity will secure your seat, which includes a FREE soft or alcoholic drink.
Can i rebuy or addon?
There will strictly be NO rebuys or addons.
How can i pay to enter?
By cash to Martin Cross in person, or via PayPal which is FREE for debit cards (please add 50p to the donation for credit cards or non-UK Paypal accounts).
Can I buy-in on the day?
Please avoid this wherever possible. I need to cater for everyone and plan the logistics of the event in advance. If too many do this, it will delay the event for all and there may not be enough refreshments.
Will alcohol be sold?
YES! I will have a TEN that allows me to sell alcohol on the premises only, with all proceeds going to Sobell House Hospice Charity, Registered Charity No. 1118646.
Will food and soft drinks be available?
Hot food, snacks and refreshments will be sold at the event, with all proceeds going to Sobell House Hospice Charity, Registered Charity No. 1118646.
Is parking available?
There is a small on-site car park for around 10 cars, plus plenty of street parking just outside, all free and on a first come first served basis. Please travel together where possible.
How many players can the venue cater for?
Logistically, around 90 in a poker layout.
What can i win?
There will be mystery bounties, vouchers, poker packages etc. Please scroll down to find the prizes from Charity Tilt I to get an idea. Keep checking back as more are being added all the time!
